You can get one by leveling up characters five times and choosing five new skills, and you can get a second one by doing the same way with 30 skills. If you haven’t chosen that skill yet, a small arrow will be in the corner. The remaining ones are probably from different mind challenges
So, there are 3 mind challenges and the others are basically from the story
To improve your characters and advance further in runs, you should continually switch up your characters. Try your hardest to unlock two more characters as soon as you can to completely make use of the advantages. After that, switch between characters frequently until you reach the following tier with each one, providing you more possibilities for enhancing your characters.
